About Us
We started AirConMe because it got unbearably hot, and there was nothing left in stock.
Like a lot of people this summer, we went looking for a portable air conditioner and found the same thing everywhere: sold out. So we built a small, straightforward business around solving that – sourcing genuine, properly-specified portable air conditioners directly from Europe and bringing them to UK homes and offices.
We're not a big-box retailer, and we're not trying to look like one. AirConMe is a small UK operation, currently focused on doing one product properly rather than a huge catalogue thinly spread. That means:
- Real specs, not inflated ones. If a unit runs loud, we'll tell you it runs loud. If it takes a while to arrive, we'll tell you how long, not just "soon."
- No fake urgency. We won't tell you something's about to sell out to get you to check out faster.
- Straightforward sourcing. Right now, orders are sourced from Europe per order – we're upfront that this isn't a same-day warehouse operation, and we'd rather set that expectation properly than have it be a surprise.
We're a registered UK limited company (details below), and we're building this the way we'd want to buy from someone else: plainly described, fairly priced, and easy to reach if something needs sorting out.
